Johnny Mize was an American professional baseball player, born on January 7, 1913 in Demorest, Georgia. He played in Major League Baseball for 15 seasons as a first baseman for the St. Louis Cardinals, New York Giants, and New York Yankees. Mize was inducted to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1981.
