Joe Louis: Talk Less & Act More

The great heavyweight boxer, Joe Louis, who incredibly reigned as world champion without interruption from 1937-49, was a far cry from more flamboyant fighters like Muhammad Ali. For Joe Louis, however, the Brown Bomber, actions spoke louder than words. And yet this quiet, dignified man famously made two observations outside the ring that everyone knows today: “He can run, but he can’t hide.” & “Everyone has a plan, until they’ve been hit.”
