Lefty Grove

Born on March 6, 1900, Lefty Grove accomplished some of the most prolific stats ever recorded for a major league pitcher, especially a lefty. He achieved the coveted pitcher’s Triple Crown twice for the American League in consecutive years (1930, 1931). Though he died on May 22, 1975, he was his legacy lives on in Cooperstown at the Baseball Hall of Fame.
