Virgin Atlantic launched a global brand campaign to celebrate individuality, optimism, and the human spirit. Anchored by Maya Angelou’s timeless message, the campaign required a voice that could cut through noise with warmth and purpose.
Leveraging Maya Angelou’s estate, CMG Worldwide partnered with ElevenLabs and Virgin Atlantic to give voice to her words in a way that was technologically innovative and deeply respectful—ushering her legacy into a new era of storytelling.

With the estate’s full support, Virgin Atlantic was granted rights to feature Maya Angelou’s poetry, name, and likeness as the creative centerpiece of its new global brand campaign.
To bring Angelou’s voice back to life, we collaborated with ElevenLabs, utilizing their advanced voice synthesis technology to recreate a faithful, emotionally resonant performance of the poem.
The result: a deeply moving film that aired globally, featuring Angelou’s words layered over vignettes of kindness, individuality, and spontaneous joy.
The Impact
- The campaign launched across the UK, US, and international markets through a high-impact media rollout that included TV, digital, out-of-home, and social placements. Commuters at London’s Bond Street station were even surprised with real-time giveaways and flights to New York—cementing the campaign as both experiential and heartfelt.
