Davey Boy Smith, born David Smith in 1962, was a British professional wrestler known for his strength, agility, and technical prowess in the ring. He rose to fame in the 1980s and 1990s as one half of the tag team The British Bulldogs, alongside his cousin, Dynamite Kid.

Smith began his wrestling career in the United Kingdom before moving to Canada, where he competed in Stampede Wrestling and caught the attention of international audiences. He eventually signed with WWE (then WWF) in 1984 and became a fan favorite with his charisma and powerful performances.

In 1992, Smith achieved one of the most significant victories of his career by defeating Bret Hart for the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam. He continued to be a prominent figure in WWE, showcasing his talents in memorable matches and feuds.

Outside of wrestling, Smith was known for his dedication to his family, including his wife Diana and their children. Tragically, Smith passed away in 2002 at the age of 39, leaving behind a legacy as one of the greatest British wrestlers of all time.
