On September 11, 2001, some Americans were called upon to do extraordinary things. As a USAF lieutenant, Heather “Lucky” Penney was one of two F-16 pilots who were ordered into the air to use their unarmed planes as weapons, if necessary, to ram and down United Airlines Flight 93 or other hijacked planes before they could reach and damage or destroy key USA assets in the Washington, D.C. area. Her story of terrorist attacks that day is incredible.
