Loren Janes was Steve McQueen‘s stunt double for 22 years. For a panel discussion at the Lone Pine Film Festival, Loren told an audience how the two friends met.

Loren Janes: “I said, ‘You’re Mr. McQueen?’ and he said, ‘Yes.’ And I said, ‘Very seriously, you know, I’m here, to make you look better, than you can make yourself look, and don’t you dare blow my close-ups.'”
