Jackie Robinson: Accomplishments on and off the field

In 1947 Jackie Robinson first integrated professional team sports in America with the Brooklyn Dodgers baseball team.

In 1949 he led all second basemen in double plays, won the batting title, led the league in stolen bases, started in the All-Star game, led the team to the National League title, and was selected as the league’s Most Valuable Player. When the season ended, he starred as himself in the feature film THE JACKIE ROBINSON STORY (another CMG client, Ruby Dee, played his wife, Rachel). There are not enough words to document and praise this great man’s accomplishments both on and off the field.
