What’s called the sports equivalent of the Emancipation Proclamation will be on display Thursday and Friday at Busch Stadium – two baseball contracts signed by Jackie Robinson, one of which led to the breaking of baseball’s color barrier.
Entrepreneur Mykalia Kontilia purchased them three years ago and is using them to launch his new auction service – Collector’s Café.
Kontilia visits Fox 2 News in the Morning to discuss how he came into possession of the rare documents, how they were authenticated, and when they’ll be auctioned.
