Samira Ali
Marketing Associate
Samira
Ali currently holds the position of marketing associate
at CMG Worldwide. She began working for CMG as an intern
in August 2000, and started her full-time position after
graduating with a Bachelors degree in Marketing
from the University of Indianapolis in December 2000.
She has also completed an Associates degree in Business
Administration from Intercollege, Cyprus (May 1998).
As part of her responsibilities, Samira deals with the
international aspects of the business, increasing client
marketing opportunities and promoting CMG in foreign markets.
She also assists marketing executives with contract details
and other marketing efforts.
Samira is a member of the Delta Mu Delta business honor
society, as well as the Alpha Chi general honor society.
As president of the Inter-Cultural Association at U of
I, she was involved in several international events that
have enhanced her international relations and marketing
skills. A significant role was establishing ties between
U of I and the International Association of Indianapolis,
which has greatly enriched the scope of employment opportunities
for the international student body.
She has also volunteered at community events and likes
being actively involved in the community. She was a member
of the United Methodist North Carolina Relief Team, where
she helped restore houses after the flood in North Carolina.
She was also a volunteer at the Julian Center, and participated
in organizing a fundraising fashion show in Cyprus, where
proceeds went to the Children of Chernobyl fund.
Her hobbies include reading, traveling, dancing and learning
about different cultures.
