CMG Worldwide's Los Angeles office resides in the penthouse suite of the Sunset Millennium building, located on the legendary Sunset Boulevard strip. With its prime location and beautiful view of the Los Angeles basin, the building was previously utilized by Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner. The infamously popular Playboy Club occupied the main level, while the 10th floor penthouse served as Hefner's personal suite. Interestingly, the paths of CMG, Playboy and the Sunset Millennium building intertwined long before CMG took over Hefner's 10th floor penthouse suite.

Numerous CMG clients have played a role in the history of one of the world's most successful magazines. When Playboy founder Hugh Hefner launched the magazine 1953, he chose Marilyn Monroe as the inaugural Playmate. Featured images of Monroe's red velvet calendar shots helped the publication's first issue sell over 50,000 copies.

Marilyn MonroeCMG acquired the penthouse in 2001, after the renowned 10-story building had undergone extensive and illustrious renovations since its early 1960s construction. Recent reformations include new exterior glass, modernized elevators, a new lobby and restrooms, a hi-tech façade and numerous other upgrades.
