Davis made All-Pro five (5) times during the Packers' glory years
in the 1960s.
He played in six (6) NFL title games and the first two Super Bowls
for the Packers during the sixties, winning all but one of those championship
games.
He never missed even one of the 162 games during his 12-year career.
Davis retired in 1969 with 21 fumble recoveries, one shy of the record
at the time.
He earned his Master's degree in business at the University of Chicago
and entered a major company's management training program two years
before his playing career ended.
